The Longhill Group was a key supplier of labour, supplying employees ranging from general civil labourers to specialised plant operators. Longhill were able to provide a flexible labour solution to meet the changing requirements of the project.
Major Works
- Constructing a 70 kilometre pipeline from the Goulburn River to Sugarloaf Reservoir.
- Building a pumping station at the Goulburn River.
- Building an inland pumping station. This will be larger than the Goulburn River station and will require more infrastructure, including a balancing water storage facility.
- Upgrading the existing Winneke Water Treatment Plant to increase its capacity.
Our Contribution
At the peak of the works Longhill supplied 80 employees ranging from general civil labourers to specialised plant operators. Some of the specific skills supplied on the project included as follows; Confined Space, Electrical Spotters, Welding inspector, Excavator operators, Grader operators, Dozer operators, Backhoe operators, Loader operators, Articulated Dump Truck operators and Leading hand. Longhill were able to provide a flexible labour solution to meet the changing requirements of the project.
