The Longhill Group was a key supplier of general civil labourers and specialised plant operators for the Deer Park By Pass. Longhill's approach was to provide a hands-on service in order to achieve an efficient and effective labour solution.
Major Works
- Two lanes of freeway standard road in each direction.
- Freeway interchanges with direct access to the Western Highway, Christies Road, Robinsons Road and the Western Ring Road.
- Overpasses of the Melbourne-Ballarat rail line and Riding Boundary Road.
- An underpass at Mt Derrimut Road.
- A new shared use path for pedestrians and cyclists.
Our Contribution
The Longhill Group worked closely with the management team to perform the necessary earthworks for the freeway bypass. Longhill were able to supply and average 20–40 employees ranging from general labourers to plant operators. Some of the specific skills supplied on the project included as follows; Excavator operators, Grader operators, Dozer operators, Backhoe operators, Loader operators, Roller operators and Articulated Dump Truck operators. We were able to provide a professional personalised service which included same day requirements and on-going safety talks.
